Jennings & Bettridge tilt top tray table (c. 1830)Rectangular paper mache tea tray table with a flat rim and rounded corners. The tray has a hand painted scrollwork & floral border decoration and is mounted to a Jennings & Bettridge swivel brace ebonized wood stand with gilt stencil decoration. London, England, circa 1830. Condition: There are small chips along the edge of the tray lip and marks on the top of the tray. The tray also has a tilt which can be seen from the side profile. The surface

This diminutively scaled vase is decorated fully in the round in cobalt under glaze blue with blooming peony bough and a magpie fluttering on a branch

The legs are joined by turned stretchers

His work is on permanent display at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole Wyoming

Condition: The edges of all the engravings are deckled and torn
