This Kamisori is fully disinfected

as we think the serial number is an integral part of the razors history and should not be covered up

The blade handle still has its original blueing from the blacksmith

This 3D-printed Kamisori Guard easily slides over the Kamisori and holds through friction and light pressure

The razor was made in the Showa period (approximately pre 2nd Worldwar as the Kanjis used are old versions) and has a length of 15 cm

It was common that Geishas got the names of their highest valued customers as a secret tattoo

Secondly this Razor was hand-forged by Shigeyoshi Iwasaki the son of Kosuke Iwasaki in a time where Sanjo Works still was using serial numbers for their razors

but we know from other equal razors

most likely made by Master Shigeoshi Iwasaki or Mizuochi San in the 1960s the Japanese Showa period
